Greetings and Salutations to the Glorious Kingdom of Atlantia,

Effective immediately I am banning the use of the Darkwood Armory Rapier Tips pending an investigation into their safety on the field. There have been several reports, both in Kingdom and from out of Kingdom, of failures resulting in the blade punching through the top of the tip. I have notified Darkwood Armory and I hope for information from them shortly.

I welcome your feedback regarding these tips. If you have any information, positive or negative, regarding these tips, please let me know. If you can, include as much information as you can, including duration of use, typical use and events around any failure you are reporting. Additionally if you have any modifications that may assist in preventing punch-through, please pass those on also.

This action is not taken lightly and is done with the interest of our fighters at heart. It is my hope that we can resolve this issue quickly.
