Congratulations to Gaston du Valmont - the newest Queen's Champion of Atlantia! Vivat! Congratulations also to Baron Alejandro Ramirez on his marriage to the Lady Brianna. Our well wishes follow them as they honeymoon in Europe!

I would like to remind everyone that there will be two rapier tracks at University in Florence, SC on June 1, 2002. I will be instructing the rapier marshalling class; I encourage all marshalls - and those who desire to become marshalls - to attend. As always, there will be a variety of classes for all levels of rapier skill.

Please also consider attending Sapphire Joust in Caer Mear, May 24-26, 2002. Historically, there have been fabulous fencing scenarios at this event and many fencers to participate; the organizers continue to encourage the tradition again this year. Prepare for many glorious melees!

I am glad to announce that I will be making my way back to Atlantia within the upcoming week! While I have enjoyed my sojourn in the midwest, I long for the warm weather and the shores of Home.
